Reporting to the Exploration Supervisor, the Junior Geologist will direct and control mineral exploration projects including sampling, prospecting, mapping and drilling using industry best practices.

About this position

MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Move and prepare core boxes;
- Perform all sample measurement, identification and labeling tasks according to work procedures;
- Proceed to the description of the geological composition of the drill cores according to the company’s standards;
- Cataloguing the information collected in files, reports, computer software, etc;
- All other tasks related to the responsibilities of the position
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in geology;
- Be a member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec;
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
- Computer skills;
- Asset: Knowledge of software such as Promine, AutoCAD, etc.
