The welder's function will be to assemble various parts or elements by fusion or by the addition of metal, using one or more welding processes (MIG, semi-automatic) and the appropriate equipment (welding station, welding assembly, etc.) according to plans or a template.

main functions
- Prepare and identify the welding process according to the type of installation and the type of metal (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Choose the welding parameters.
- Carry out, from instructions, plans, welded assemblies in the workshop and/or on site and implement one or more welding processes (arc, TIG, MIG, semi-automatic, etc.).
- Verify the assemblies and check the conformity of the parts with the plans.
- Interpret technical documents (plans, specifications, etc.).
- Adjust and maintain semi-automatic machines.
- Operate various machines (presses, bending machines, band saws, etc.).

profil required
- DEP in welding or experience.
- Basic knowledge of materials (resistance and aging), metallurgy (modification of metals during welding, surface treatment), mechanics (assembly), technical drawing.
- Technical knowledge (assembly, cutting, welded constructions, welding process technologies, welding controls).
- Knowledge of reading plans and specifications.
- Organized and autonomous.
