About this position
PERMANENT/FULL TIME/ROUYN-NORANDA
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Supervise, develop and support the team of purchasing, inventory and service clerks;
- Coordinate the receipt and shipment of materials;
- Place orders with suppliers, finding the best possible prices in the shortest possible time;
- Perform inventory control on requisitions received.
- Organize, plan and manage warehouse inventory and replenish as needed;
- Plan transportation of merchandise with various business partners;
- Manage various price lists and track updates in the computer system;
- Order management Inventory for certain customers;
- Manage manufacturing work orders for parts in inventory;
- Plan physical inventory as needed;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment,
- Contribute to the team effort by performing special tasks as required;
- Find effective solutions to various supply and logistics problems;
- Support the management of day-to-day relations with internal and external partners;
- Develop creative and innovative strategies to reduce and optimize procurement costs.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- 2 to 5 years in a similar position;
- College diploma in administration or other equivalent combination of training and experience;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to direct actions towards achieving objectives;
- Excellent ability to contact and deal effectively with various agents and suppliers;
- Dynamism, initiative and ability to work as part of a team;
- Acts as a proactive, positive and motivated leader;
- Autonomous and resourceful;
- Computer literate.
